MEET YOUR PETER PAN PANTO CAST – PART 9

She sings, she dances, she acts, and now she also flies! She’s more than a triple threat! It’s KIRUNA-LIND DEVAR! It’s already November, and Janice Honeyman’s PETER PAN PANTO has started doing some preview performances before its official opening this coming weekend! The excitement is REAL!

G & T: What’s your role in Peter Pan?

KLD: I am Wendy Darling

G & T: What message do you want to convey to your audience?

KLD: It’s easy to be kind and good and to take care of those that you love even if it’s difficult for you.

G & T: On your marks, get set … are you ready for some quick-fire questions …?

G & T: Beach or mountains?

KLD: Mountains

G & T: Peanut butter or Nutella?

KLD: Peanut butter (and it has to be Black Cat from the Jar)

G & T: At home binge-watching series or partying all night long?

KLD: Binge-watching series at home – actually ANYTHING at home.

G & T: What was your favourite toy when you were younger?

KLD: When I was little it was a doll, I loved dolls.

G & T: If you were stranded on a desert island with only 3 items, what would you want them to be?

KLD: My guitar, my emotional support water bottle and a copy of my favourite book – Invisible Cities by Italo Calvino.

G & T: If you were arrested, what would your friends and family immediately assume you had done?

KLD: For some sort of activism … or road rage! (maybe road rage is more accurate!)

G & T: If you could have dinner with any 2 people – living or dead – who would they be and why?

KLD: Ella Fitzgerald – she was an unbelievable musician, able to articulate music and feelings so skilfully in a time when she wasn’t necessarily allowed to flourish, but she did, in a society where she wasn’t allowed to because of her race, and she wasn’t the most beautiful person. And my Dad

G & T: What’s your favourite pantomime?

KLD: It’s between Snow White and Peter Pan – they both have huge hearts. They’re both driven by goodness, redemption and adventure!
