MEET YOUR PETER PAN PANTO CAST – PART 6

I hope you’re enjoying ‘meeting’ Janice Honeyman’s PETER PAN Panto cast as much as I’m enjoying chatting to them and telling you loads of stuff about them that you never realized you needed to know! Next up is the irrepressible BRIAN NGOBESE …

G & T: What’s your role in Peter Pan?

BN: I play Tootles and I’m part of the Ensemble – it’s a lot of fun, I’m one of the Lost Kids

G & T: What message do you want to convey to your audience?

BN: I want my audience to enjoy what we put out there, to smile, to be kids again, to exuberate everything inside them. (G & T: Oh my gosh, what a FABULOUS word: “Exhuberate” … I’m going to use that whenever I get the opportunity!) Mainly, I want them to enjoy themselves and not to be stuck up – be a kid again. It’s been a tough year!

G & T: If you had a theme song that played every time you walked into a room, what would it be?

BN: La Bamba (and I’d be dancing my way in!)

G & T: Do you have any irrational fears?

BN: I have a fear of doing a centre split, but I’ve conquered all the others!

G & T: If you could have dinner with any 2 people – living or dead – who would they be and why?

BN: Chris Brown – he’s inspired me in the way I dance and Rihanna (cos she’s my crush)

G & T: What are 4 things you never leave the house without?

BN: My headsets, my phones, my extra pair of sneakers, my keys

G & T: What DOES NOT belong on a pizza?

BN: Pineapple!!!! (G & T: This is the correct answer! A trillion points to Griffindor!)

G & T: Which snacks are your must-haves for a road trip?

BN: Lays Caribbean Onion & Balsamic Vinegar Chips, Stoney, Biltong (G & T: I nearly had to do a DNA test to check that this was not one of my offspring!)

G & T: What (in your opinion) is the best gift you have ever given someone?

BN: Training gloves. One of my friends had a thing for boxing – One year I was his secret Santa and this was what I bought for him. He got so excited, he immediately put on his headset and was dancing around to Eye of the Tiger.

G & T: What’s the title of your autobiography?

BN: “An Outlaw Life of Brian” … I don’t know how many boundaries I’ve broken with my family. Every time they tell me not to do something – I do it!!
