CITY LODGE HOTEL GROUP – CLIMBING THE LADDER WITH PERSEVERANCE, DEDICATION, HARD WORK AND LOYALTY

City Lodge Hotel Group staff appointments – January 2021

When you read this, it’s important to realise that this is not simply a piece about ‘staff appointments, as the sub-heading suggests. It’s not just about who’s moving where, or who’s being shifted into which positions. You don’t even need to read between the lines to understand that this is about hard work and loyalty, a brand and its people: people who have started off with the City Lodge Hotel Group many years ago, slowly moving up through the ranks through perseverance and dedication to get to where they are today. A couple of them even left and returned, which speaks volumes! In a world where everything moves at a split-second, lightning-fast pace and where people seek instant gratification, moving on as soon and as often as the mood takes them, steadfast dependability is something to be recognised and nurtured. The City Lodge Hotel Group is most definitely doing this, ensuring sustainable staff excellence and customer service at the highest level!

Following the announcement last year of Brendan Luttig being appointed as opening general manager of the new Courtyard Hotel Waterfall City and Elzabe de Jager taking over his previous position as general manager of City Lodge Hotel Fourways, from her position as general manager of the Courtyard Hotel Sandton, the ripple effect staff movement within management, effective 1 February 2021, is as follows:
