Cinema Nouveau Top 10 – Week Ending August 14 2017

This is what your Top 10 looks like at Cinema Nouveau this week!

My Cousin RachelTopping the list is newly released ‘My Cousin Rachel’ (starring Rachel Weisz and Sam Claflin). Based on Daphne du Maurier’s 1950’s novel, it tells the story of a young Englishman who plots revenge against his mysterious, beautiful cousin, believing that she murdered his guardian. But his feelings become complicated as he finds himself falling under the spell of her beguiling charms (I like the sound of this one!). Taking #2 and #3 place is also newly released titles ‘Viceroy’s House’ and ‘Krotoa’ (which dropped from last week’s number 1 spot). The #4 and #5 places spots respectively are, ‘Paris Can Wait’ and ‘Below her Mouth’.
